Deal Alert: InMobi acquires UK mobile location & context tech startup Overlay

Bangalore-based InMobi has acquired Overlay Media, a UK-based mobile location and context tech startup. Overlay Media, which comprises of a team of data scientists, has built the Context Engine technology to deliver personalized content to mobile users. The Overlay Media team will be based from the InMobi London EMEA headquarters.
InMobi is venture-backed by investors including SoftBank,
